- 2 Grammar and typos. So many ways to avoid besides a spell check. This alone presents you as sloppy with no attention to detail. You will be placed in the bad job candidate pile.
3 Too general or too many pages. Try specific job accomplishments at each job you have held. And try to limit to 1-2 pages maximum.
Seems simple enough. But most resumes I reviewed had one or more of these mistakes. Very rare to place those job candidates at the top of the hiring list.
